Acer laptop can’t connect to wifi [Solved]
Although I dragged down the Wifi option, enabled the connection, but I get no connection. Do you have any other laptop connected to the WiFi? I would like to add that, when I took the laptop to another setting, the problem of connecting to the wifi was back. I installed Ubuntu However, I do remember after troubleshooting the wifi that a message popped up and it said that the “Wi-Fi doesn’t have a valid IP configuration”.

More recent technology seems to work with higher wireless mode values. This time, I did the same, but set the value back to 12 and it worked.

Thank you so much. First check as;ire wifi is hardblocked or softblocked by running the below command, sudo rfkill list If your wifi is softblocked then run the below command to unblock, sudo rfkill unblock wlan If your wifi is hardblocked then you have to turn on the wifi hardware switch.
I have tried a lot from resetting the router to resetting the wireless adapter and basically all that I can see on google. I am very very frustrated already.
